2.1 Frame
Self-designed and manufactured frame with all floors covered, optimized design of loaded structure, box-typed structure, made of high tension steel. Boxes in which outriggers are stowed lie between 2nd and 3rd axle and in the rear of the frame. Front and rear tow-hooks are available.

2.6 Brakes
Service brake: dual circuit air brake controlled by foot pedal. Max. working pressure is 0.8Mpa. 1st circuit acts on the wheels of 1st and 2nd axle, 2nd circuit acts on the wheels of 3rd and 4th axle.
Parking brake: air release brake, acts on the wheels of two rear axles by spring loaded airchambersrespectively on each axle.

2.7 Carrier cab
Full dimension, fully enclosed cab, good sealing, anti-vibration and corrosion- proof. 3 windshield wipers, rear vision mirrors of large view, electric control window washers, safety glasses, electric lifts of door and window, heater with defrosting device, adjustable seats, air conditioner, radio-cassette playerand a sundries case are available. Left-hand steering wheel is adjustable for height and inclination.
2.8 Hydraulic system
Variable displacement pump connected to engine through transmission and PTO provides hydraulic power for lifting operation.
Manual multi-way change valve controlling the moving directions of outrigger beams and jacks can be operated on each side of the vehicle. The change valve adding a pressure valve efficiently prevents the piston rods of horizontal cylinder bending.Speeders equipped on outrigger jacks (double-way hydraulic valve on 5th jack) not only prevent retracting of the piston rods of jack cylinder during lifting operation, but also improve the speed for outrigger extending/retracting.
2.9 Hydraulic outriggers
4 hydraulic outriggers can be hydraulically operated. There is a control console on each side of the carrier respectively. Levels for leveling the vehicle are available. The outrigger floats are stowed under the jacks. Outriggers are designed to raise the vehicle for operations in all kinds of working condition.
Outrigger span (longitudinal×transversal): 5.75m×6.9m.
5th outrigger jack: located under the front of the vehicle frame for 360º operation of the boom.
2.10 Electrical equipment
24V DC, negative ground, 2 batteries. Lighting device comprises of front headlamp, fog light and reversing light etc., complied to the relative regulations in China National Standard.

3. Crane Superstructure
3.1 Slewing mechanism
The roller slewing bearing as connection of the carrier and the crane superstructure can rotate 360º continuously. The roller bed is sealed to resist water and dust.
3.2 Turntable
Designed and manufactured by XCMG, equivalent stress and tapered cross-section box-type structure, made of high-tension steel.
3.3 Hydraulic system
The vehicle power is transferred by hydraulic system of combination of open type variable displacement and constant displacement. The main winch system with variable displacement pump and motor has constant power and can get lower speed with heavy load, higher speed with light load.
Superstructure hydraulic system adopts pilot electro hydraulic proportional control and has function of load-feedback. The main control valve is advanced load sensitive type proportional multi-way change valve.
The pressure difference between pump outlet pressure and load pressure can change variable pump inclination of oil distributor through load feedback port, thus changing the flow of the pump. With the control of constant power variable displacement pump, the pressure and flow of the pump can be adjusted well by load feedback, thus greatly increasing control performance and energy-save effect. The pilot control valve uses an imported electro hydraulic proportional valve. The moving angle of its handle is directly proportional to the input current, so does the movement of the main control valve element. Thus the whole machine has good fine motion control.

3.4Control
Conventional control is carried out by 2 self-centering 4-way joysticks in the carrier cab. All movements of the crane are controlled by pilot control through hydraulic pump and proportional valve, stepless speed variation is available.

Main winch is controlled by open oil circuit. Variable-displacement motor, compact and high performance professionally made planetary gear reducer with wet brake, drum with special rope groove and rotation resistance wire rope are available.

3.7 Auxiliary winch:

3.9 Slewing mechanism
Constant displacement motor, compact and high performance planetary gear reducer with wet brake is available. It has the function of free-slide. The slewing of the superstructure is driven by external coupling ring. Stepless speed regulation is from 0 to 2 rpm.
3.10 Telescoping boom
Made of high-tension structural steel, torsion-resistant, consists of one base boom and 4 telescoping sections with U-typed cross-section. Adjustable spacers supporting main boom are available. The main boom is telescoped in sequence plus synchronization by two double-action reciprocating hydraulic cylinder plus wire ropes.
6 sheaves on boom top are standard equipment.

3.11 Crane cab
Streamlined fully enclosed crane cab, good sealing and corrosion-proof, safe and comfortable. A large front window with sunscreen has no blind area. Wipers on front and roof windows, safety glasses, adjustable seats, joysticks on the armrests of the seats and an open outside door are available. Standard controllers and indicators are arranged ergonomically.
3.12 Safety devices
Hydraulic system: counterbalance valve, overflow valve, two-way hydraulic lock, stable and reliable. XCMG PAT load moment limiter offers all the advantages of the microprocessor technique in combination with the features and benefits of all PAT operational systems. Display and Operating Console: analog instrument for percentage load moment; digital LCD display for permitted and actual load with switch-able tare facility; digital LCD display with selector switch for boom length, angle, radius, boom head height, operating mode, error code, system test. Central Unit: microprocessor technique; basic design for any type of crane; standard capacity 70 load curves/optionally extendable; sheet metal housing, protection class IP 65. Length and Angle Sensor LWG: various series for different telescoping lengths and boom configurations; transmission of hoist limit switch signal through length transducer cable, optionally also for transmission of the signals of force transducer and angle sensors of luffing jibs; oil-damped pendulum angle sensor.
